SIDDUR = SEDER ESTABLISHED BY CHAZAL

How do we help our kavanah? We have to internalize that Hashem is the source for everything – our distractions, our mind wandering is often due to our perspective that there are other factors determining what we get in this world and we think of them. How can we strengthen that internalization that Hashem is the only source of everything in our lives. This is the avodah of tefila: to fully realize and acknowledge that Hashem is the source of everything in our lives. How do we internalize this? How do we bring Hashem in and feel He is the source of everything in our lives? Chazal helped us with this by setting up the order of tefilla is precisely to enable us to see that Hashem is the source of our life and if we think and internalize the different parts of tefilla we will see the beauty of the siddur, chazal set it up perfectly to see that Hashem is the source of everything and it will come naturally to turn to Hashem bchol levavchem, we will ask Hashem for our needs. Example – why we say Krias Shema and the brachas before we say Shemona Esreh because the objective of shema and it’s brochos is to internalize Hashem is the source of everything and our yeshuas. And then having that feeling we turn to Hashem in Shemona Esreh without any distractions, knowing everything else is fake, only Hashem can bring us the yeshuas we ask for.
And even by mincha, the message of Ashrei is the same thing, the message is that Hashem is the only source of everything in the bria and if we internalize that, we will turn to Him and ask Him for our needs. To have the proper approach in tefila is to put the effort into what chazal gave us, the siddur which is seder, everything has a special order and if we follow it and internalize what chazal are trying to teach us, we can approach tefilla properly, we don’t need extra kabbalahs or anything special, it’s all built in. The point of the siddur is its name, it is a seder, an order inspired through nevuah and ruach hakodesh to the anshei knesses hagadola who set it down for us to use to internalize all the lessons which will bring us to a whole hearted avodas Hashem.

SUMMARY
The siddur itself was created in a very specific order by Chazal (with nevuah and ruach hakodesh), to bring us to the proper kavanahs that Hashem is the source of everything. By following the order of tefila with concentration and understanding we will come to the proper avodas Hashem.
